Impact of Good Fortune

Since Good Fortune’s release it has generated much excitement. Noni spoke at the National Society of High School Scholars event hosted at the United States Senate where she captured the hearts of the likes of its president, Claes Nobel, and has been featured on several television news broadcasts (including Better Morning Atlanta – CBS; Good Day Atlanta – FOX; 11 Alive - NBC), radio shows (including NPR, On Point with Tom Ashbrook and Georgia Public Radio (GPR) “Cover to Cover” with Myriam Farrero) and newspapers and magazines (including Atlanta Journal Constitution (AJC), Rolling Out Magazine, Harvard Crimson, and as the cover story for April’s Fayette Woman Magazine). Noni was inducted into the Who’s Who in Black Atlanta 2010, featured at the Ashley Bryant Children’s Festival at the Auburn Avenue Research Library and participated in the Capital Book Fest in Maryland, Pennsylvania, and South Carolina. She was also a panelist at the Decatur Book Festival in Decatur Georgia and the Boston Book Festival.

More importantly, it has become the cornerstone of THE NONI CARTER
by acting as a vehicle for her to intimately connect with and inspire youth from elementary school through college including the Ron Clark Academy, KIPP School in Atlanta, the HBCU Lane College, Emerson College in Boston, Harvard University and Princeton University.
